Off The Record

Off The Record – By Diarmaid Condon

“An LA inheritance unexpectedly brings together estranged Irish twins. They discover their uncle didn’t die of ‘natural causes’, he was murdered. They must follow a maze of clues he has left to unearth the killer, or die themselves. Along the way, they are forced to navigate snooty LA neighbours, shady attorneys, corrupt cops, defrocked clergy, people traffickers and, most notorious of all, an Irish mother.”

Off The Record is a ‘Noir’ novel. Racier than ‘Cosy Crime’, but not quite as pacy as a full blown ‘Thriller’. It could also be categorised as a fast paced or thrilling ‘Mystery’, featuring amateur sleuths or unwitting detectives.
